This Remodeled Kitchen is a Winner!
Winner of 2017 Kitchen Remodeling Project of the Year Award at the 2017 St. Louis Home Builders Association (HBA) Sales, Marketing, & Construction Awards
Starting out as a full kitchen remodel for a newly-purchased home, this project quickly evolved into a whole-house remodel, touching many parts of this home.
Kitchen Before Remodel
We remodeled the kitchen with new cabinetry, quartz countertops, some new appliances, subway tile backsplash and new flooring (which ended up being installed on the entire main level). Plus, the owners wanted to have a farmhouse table act as the island cabinetry. After settling on a final design with the owners, our carpenters built the table with hardwood lumber that we distressed for the look they desired.
After Kitchen Remodel
We removed an unnecessary bank of cabinets, and created a walk up bar for coffee or cocktails with distressed open shelving and iron brackets, white subway tile, a new bar sink, ice maker and beverage center.
The schedule to complete the work was our biggest challenge. The owners moved to the area and needed this project turned around in short order—and the scope of work kept increasing. We did it and the owners were thrilled and the space turned out beautifully!
