Liston Design Build: A Legacy of Family-Owned Excellence in St. Louis

Liston Design Build is thrilled to have been selected as one of St. Louis SBM’s top family-owned businesses! Here’s some background about how we got to where we are today.

In 1984, Mike Liston, started Liston Construction as a one-man operation with a no-job-is-too-small approach to home remodeling projects. Through the years, we expanded services, gradually taking on larger home renovation projects and, eventually, custom home builds. Mike’s son, Keith, joined the family business in 1986 and took the helm in 2009. Today, the re-branded Liston Design Build reflects the company’s expanded home remodeling services, led by Keith’s building expertise and the design skills of his wife and co-owner, Jeanne, and their daughter, Andrea.

As we’ve added new team members, we outgrew our office and moved to a new location in St. Charles, where our staff has the space and technology it needs to assist more clients. Today, Keith and Jeanne’s daughter, Andrea, works by their side as a design consultant. Their son-in-law also works with the team as a Project Manager. The third generation is well positioned to carry on the family’s strong reputation in the St. Louis community.
